LEAD EQUIVALENT (XRAY GLASS) WINDOWS - RADIATION SHIELDINGRadiation shielding glass ( x-ray glass ) is available (generally ex stock) in the following standard lead equivalent at 110kv diagnostic energies:
1.6mm Over 2.2mm lead equivalent available by contacting RSG Panel sizes are: 1.6Pb - 1100 x 2400mm 2.2Pb - 1100 x 2400mm We hand cut each order to size, however stock sizes are charged in 275mm x 300mm increments so keep this in mind when thinking about your window size to minimise wastage costs. Glass can be laminated together to form higher lead equivalencies. Recommended optional extra to meet Australian Standard AS1288-2006 is to apply stabilising safety film adhered to both sides. Due to the nature of the glass some slight visual imperfections may occur. Standard clear anodised aluminium frame can be made to suit 92mm stud. Other stud sizes will require manufacture of a pressed metal frame. Alternative frame profiles manufactured to suit all wall types.
