LEAD EQUIVALENT WINDOWS - RADIATION SHIELDING

Radiation shielding glass ( x-ray glass ) is available (generally ex stock) in the following standard lead equivalent at 150kv diagnostic energies:

1.6mm
2.2mm

Over 2.2mm lead equivalent available by contacting RSG

Panel sizes are:

         1.6Pb - 1000 x 1700mm
         2.2Pb - 1050 x 2100mm

We hand cut each order to size.

Glass can be laminated together to form higher lead equivalencies.  

Recommended optional extra is to apply stabilising safety film adhered to both sides. Due to the nature of the glass some slight visual imperfections may occur.

Standard clear anodised aluminium frame can be made to suit 92mm stud.  Other stud sizes will require manufacture of a pressed metal frame.

Alternative frame profiles manufactured to suit all wall types.
