LEAD LINED DOORS- RADIATION SHIELDING

The following types of lead lined doors are available:

• Doors are manufactured from solid wood core to which hardwood edge strips are bonded, then lead is bonded to both sides of core followed by either paint or stain grade skins. Rebate for double doors are shielded



• Door frames are made from 1.1 to 1.5mm zincanneal steel with profile to suit applications. Frames are supplied with three hinge backing plates per door. Hinges and door hardware by others.



• Special frames manufactured for heavy doors over 100kg.Full length hinges used for heavy doors.



• Viewing panels are available to customer specified size with glass panels of lead equivalent between 1.6 and 2.2mm
