The following types of leadlined wall lining materials are available:
- 13mm gypsum board (gyprock, plasterboard)
Gypsum - Sheet length to 3000mm x 1200mm. Lead bonded to 2100mm with lead overlap of 20mm on one long edge. Lead gauge limited to maximum of 10kg/m^2 (.88mm) due to strength limitations of gypsum and paper substrate.
- 13mm CSR Impact plasterboard
Impact - Sheet length 3000mm x 1200mm. Lead adhesively bonded to 2100mm with lead overlap of 20mm on one long edge. For 15kg - 25kg Lead gauge (>0.88 - 2.2mm lead)
- 9mm fibrecement (villaboard or wallboard) sheet with lead bonded to one face.
FC Sheet - Sheet length up to 3000mm, edges recessed for setting tape. Lead bonded to 2100mm with lead overlap of 20mm on one long edge. With heavier lead gauges packing may be required to obtain flat wall.
- MDF panel with lead bonded to one side.
MDF- Panel 2400 x 1200mm with rebate on both 2100 sides to accept 30mm wide lead joining strip. Lead bonded and set with 200 tonne hydraulic press.
Lead can be bonded to other materials to customised specifications.
All our products are custom made to order. Normal Lead time is 1-2 weeks delivery ex Sydney for wall lining, however please ask at the time of ordering for current lead times.
Radiation Services is also qualified to Certify our materials and can provide tagging also.
